Hi all,
That time of year and my car is stored, and in past I have worn a few batteries. I bought a Optima Red Top and decided to store the car for 6 months and pulled the battery out all together as I cannot hook up a charger and leave it where I store it...so I would like any input on what I should consider. Cheap and has to be AC as I'll plug this in and leave in my basement. Thanks... |

CTek makes a good charger. Heard that KMS sells them. ;)
Can Tire has there own brand (motomaster) as well - have a few of those. If it's for storage, you don't need more than 1-2 amps, so don't waste your money on a big one. Make sure that whatever one you get, says it's OK for use on an AGM battery (not just lead acid). |
