We are having a detailing session at Glenn's place at 3:00PM on June 11th.  This is just before the regular meeting.

Glenn's place is literally minutes from the meeting.

20329 91B Ave Surrey.

Bring some cut polish and wax and LOTS of clean rags or heavy duty paper towels.  Car soap, buckets, wash brushes and small vacuums welcome.

Thanks Glenn!

I will have to stay home to detail as the car I a bringing to the (my V8 black beast) won't have insurance on it till the day of the show.  I normally put a 2 day permit on it for the meeting and Te show, but this year money is tight especially considering I don't get paid for another week from my new job and Lisa's truck just had the rear window shot out with a beebee gun and the shop is charging $300 which we really can't afford,  for the replacement.  Its the rear side glass, the HUGE one on the blazers that goes from the rear door all the way back to the back of the truck.  However she needs the truck so it is off at Broco over night tonight will have it done at noon.

As for my black V8, the paint has gotten rough and faded over the year since it was painted, so I might hit it with some 1000 grit paper and give it a good wet sand before the show on Sunday.  We usually put a 2 day permit on both her our nice cars for the meeting and the show, however this year is just going to have to be low key for us.

I plan on being there if it's still happening. I just polished and waxed
my car last night so I won't have all that much to do to my own car but
can help out others.

I'll be there too, polishing wheels, engine and interior
I don't have to worry about PRIMED body, it's going to be listed as "UNDER CONSTRUCTION".

EDITED: Gina has to work, so I'll be going solo.

Michelle and I are going to be there also Glenn.

If anyone wants to bring a bottle of rug shampoo, I have a small upholstery shampooer I can bring also.  It does a nice job and makes your car smell good.

In an ironic twist....  Glenn's own car (white formula) might not be at his house, due to a screw up in.... a formula.  A paint formula that is.

I'm currently doing a 'touch up' job on his car (ok, it's about 1/3 of the car).  Had the paint mixed this morning. Didn't crack the can open until about 7 or 8 this evening.  Looked at it....  hmmm... maybe it's the light in the shop.  Maybe it looks different when it's sprayed.  Maybe...  maybe... mayb... ma....    Nah, it's f**ked.

White is white.  This ain't white.

If you took a can of white and put 2 drops of brown in it, you might have this.
So, it's back to LORDCO (THANKS GUYS! ) and see if someone there is willing to mix up another can first thing. Then I can sand this down a bit, and then shoot another couple layers.  Thing is, it has to sit undisturbed for 16-24hrs!
So now, he's going to have to come over here early Sunday, and drive it straight to White Rock.

ARGH!!!!!!!

Unfortunately Glen, even if I had the Fiero, I'd still be unavailable. Promised the lass I went to school with we'd hang out this Saturday.

You boys have fun, I'll see your shiny Fieros at the meet.

Well, after much running around - new paint was got, mixed, applied.   But of course, not until even more sanding, cleaning, etc was done.

So, with luck nothing else goes wrong (like the couple of bugs that committed suicide on the 2 min old paint), I'll be able to get it unmasked and put back together in time for tomorrow.

Now....  on to MY car!
