Dug blackie out from under it's covers today.

Pulled the coil wire off and cranked it about 20 sec's to see oil pressure.  Hooked it back up, turned the key and it lit off after about 1/2 a rotation!
Blew the dust off, washed it down and gave it a quick wax.
Cleaned out the insides where it had got a bit dusty.

Still seems to be happy after being stashed for the last 8 months.

( ^^^^  the aftermarket decks gotta go)

Stock in appearance, and so it shall stay!
Collectors plates...  just one year away...

Are those stock seats? They look quite lovely, and have certainly held up well if so.

And that's a great machine. It's like a non-beat-up version of my own car. =P

Never shift into reverse without a back-up plan.

The seats are Mr. Mikes and you can buy a set for, I belive last check was $600 for the skins alone, not including the donar seats to install them on.

As said...  they're Mr.Mikes.

They're over a grand cdn $'s -- he had to jack his prices up some time ago when leather prices went up.

($747 +$29 usd = 776 *1.25 = ~970cdn plus shipping)

    Congrats on the pass.

P.S.   I left your place and just from the look of traffic at Nordel I decided to skip Scott road and took the 91 down to Hwy 10, everything stayed put.  Even got offered a free 85 Coupe in Port Kells.  Its a 4cyl Auto, so I said I personally would pass, but recomended he get on the club site and post it up, or call me with the details and I'd post it up for him.  Rough details, white 85-86 4cyl Auto Coupe with Tan Interior.  he said he thinks the only thing it needs is an alternator and some cleaning to actully be a running car.

As requested offline....  here's my latest aircare report.
I checked, and my 2006 and 2008 reports are virtually identical in both readings, and max allowable.

12.9L/100kms seems kind of high for the stock 2.8L isn't it? Or is it stock?

All those readings are taken from industry standards.  Not your actual car (that'd be almost impossible to determine on a dyno with OBD1).

EPA spec for an '86 V6 spd was 17/24mpg(us) or 20/28mpg(imp).
My brain almost exploded finding this one, but...  that should be 10L/100km (straight highway).

So where did they come up with 12.9?  Who the hell knows.  It's the govt'.  They probably made it up.   :)
(maybe it's a combined city/highway thing)

the dyno test never gets you up to freeway speeds

they ran my car for 30 seconds continuous at 40 kms/hour.

hardly a real life test

Ya, I thought it was funny because I took mine in just under 2 months ago and it came back at 10L/100km. Although I managed 8.25L/100kms on my trip back from Kelowna
