Are you having trouble putting the hinge bolts back into the door or into the frame?

Lower one on the frame/body side? IIRC the nut is loose inside the pillar. Been a while, but I seem to recall you need to pull back the carpet, and gently yank the 'tar paper' that covers the hole up.

Actually, it's a bolt that goes into the hinge from the inside of the pillar (opposite of the others), but it's difficult to tell if this is the problem that Mark is referring to. |

Ah yes - that's it. Knew there was 'something' hidden in there... just been too long....
That aside - the whole hinge bolting on/off thing is the reason I simply pull the pins and lift off the door if I know it's going to go back on!!!! (the pins probably needed replacing anyhow) |

The only reason I knew was because something jammed inside the driver's door of my parts car a couple of months ago and the only way I could ultimately get the door open was to remove the damn hinges!

So it is the bolts bolting hinge to body NOT hinge to door
And the bolts marked green are bolted from hinge to body (threads on body) and bolt marked red is bolted from the inside but from your thoughts it looks like im going to just tap out the pins and bolt them in cause i have to replace bushings anyway door wont line up |
