   I need two ashtray covers (black)for my '85 GT . The two 

that I have are missing the tabs on each end and are a 

pretty bashed up (the previous owner was a serious chain 

smoker). I don't need the metal inserts that fit inside 

of the ashtrays.

The problem is, I can't seem to get them to fit back into 

my car with the finished look that I need.They stick up 

and/or fall into the metal inserts every time I take the 

car out for a run. These are the last two items that I 

need before I submit my car for collector plates, so if 

you have a good, near pristine pair for sale, or if you 

can tell me how I can restore mine, I would be most 

grateful.
