This is our first drive of the year. A short sight
seeing tour.

Let's meet up at noon on Sunday May 3 at A&W for brunch
and then head off to Abbotsford, cross the Mission
Bridge, and head up to Stave Falls. Cross the river and
then had to Ruskin Dam. Cross over the dam back to
Dewdney Trunk Road and then head to Westminster Abbey.

After that, we have a choice to head back via the
Mission Bridge via Abbotsford or any of the other
crossings. I was thinking of heading back via Coquitlam
but that might extend my intended time for this drive.
I need to be home to make dinner.

2. Shawn (Shawnwil)
3. Jim

I was thinking A&W in Langley in front of the Rickys
where are meetings normally take place. But if
everybody else coming is in agreement, we can meet at a
more central location.   I chose A&W because there seems
to be many to choose from that are in a location we can
all meet up at.

At 11:30, I will be at Willingdon and Moscrop in
Burnaby. So I have time to get pretty well anywhere to
meet up. (1/2 hr to get there).

Hi Guys. Some of you may not know that I sold my Black Fiero, but I
miss the group and would love to join you on the run to Westminster
Abbey in my S2000.

Here is a possible alternate route from A&W to Westminster Abbey. As
you can see, it crosses over the Golden Ears bridge to the Alouette Lake
dam and then to the Stave Lake Falls dam.

I was thinking maybe paying a toll 1 way would be okay. Returning via
Abbotsford.

On Wednesday I took a drive to see if my route was even possible. I
planned this route based on Google maps, but Google maps lied there is
no through road to Alouette Lake as shown in my map. So the route
suggested by Ken is the best one except for one problem. The traffic
between the Golden ears Bridge and Maple Ridge is a nightmare.

May I suggest a pit stop at the Cedar Ridge golf course? It is located at
the junction of Keystone and Dewdney Trunk road just north of Mission.

For those of us who have a little bit more time may I suggest I route from
Mission to Fort Langley and Derby Reach as shown in the map.

Hi Ken, the route looks good but what time of day are you
going on Saturday? I work at least until 1:30 and have to
get ready for a 4am shift to do the rest of the inventory
on Sunday???

Jim, I thought you said you got off at noon.

We'll have to go without you. I need to be back home around 4:30
so we need to leave not long after noon. We'll have another drive
later in the summer....hopefully you'll have your Fiero running by
then.

Henry, thanks for the suggestions, but I think we'll stick to the
original route. I wanted to see Ruskin Dam and Stave Falls also.

So we're down to 3

1) Ken
2) Henry
3) Johnny

Hey guys I thought we were going on Sunday May 3. I won't be able to join
you if we're going Saturday.

Ken I agree your route is the best one. See my previous post:
