We have a 1988 Fiero GT that has never been licensed. We have kept her in a heated garage since new. She is completely stock, red with gray leather, every option including sunroof, a/c, 5spd, premium sound. Please let me know how we can get this car information to your members. Thanks, Steve & Carol Hiatt 253-312-1136

The information is out. So, are you selling your Fiero or just trying to make us all jealous?

You might also wish to state where you're located (as we are on the west coast of Canada).

Just adding little side note. I know a lot of you probably looked at the price and might be going into cardiac arrest at the moment. However look at it this way. What kind of "NEW" car can you buy today for that price. This car will ultimately be sold to someone that is looking at a new or newer sports car. The 88GT albeit 20+ years old now, can still out handle and brake many of todays cars. |

This is just a personal note, if I had that kind of change, I'd be doing exactly what Xander wants to do: LS4 in the back. And a blower on top of that. lol

Never shift into reverse without a back-up plan.

Age makes no diference, I am racing and in the top 20 out of 60 drivers in AutoX with my Fiero...and can only improve with the tires invested for next season. This '88 for a collector insurance would be amazing...my only concern are parts that may have cracked or something over all the years just sitting, still a great investment, but hard sell in hard times:(...good luck:) |

Ya, but im curious if it was up on stands the whole time.. sitting for 20+ years is bound to do SOME damage isn't it?

The car has been in a heated garage and driven some. The last time she was out was 7/4/2009. She looks and runs perfect. No damage from storage.

It's not too tough to get pics on the internet nowadays, can you post some?
I'm in somewhat agreement in that I'm sure there are all kinds of failure points in the rubber components of the car. I've driven a well taken care of 88 that had something silly like 20,000 kms on it. Was very nice. I'm sure this car would be great to take for a spin although with it's garage queen status fully entrenched I can't imagine somebody buying it to drive. Which is a very small market to sell to now. |

Thanks for the input. I am taking this car off of the market. There are no problems at all with the car.

Off the market?? Did it ever really exist? This reminds me of the posts that Patrick was always looking into of somebody posting about fieros that were never for sale in the first place.

Steve, keep it on the market as we are too far for anyone to consider to buy I think...many of us do have great experience with these cars, and with any car that has sat for some time, that's never really a good thing or selling point.
Good luck and hope it finds a great home:) |
