I own a 1988 Fiero GT. Its got a 5 spd and the stock V6. Its my first car and I don't plan on selling it. Lots of fun. I'm here on the island, and I only know of a few around here. I'll try to post an image, but this is my first post, ever. There was an article in the Times Colonist on it. Maybe one of you saw it. Here it is.

Also I could not remember my old user name. My other account on this site is 88FieroGT. I never posted anything on this account.

Thank you, but last halloween it was vandalized and there are three spots on the hood needing repaint. It's too hard to see in the pictures. Too expensive to do now but it wont rust. lol.

Hey, I saw a car just like that one today at Arlington!

Good to meet you today, Jordan. You've got a nice looking GT.

one pop up lol.

Thanks Patrick! It was nice to meet all of you too, I had such a blast.
From the drive
down, to the whole day, I'll never forget this trip. It was nice putting a
face to all the names . I'll definately do this again for sure!

I'm near Sidney, but 90% of the time I'm in Victoria lol. Which car is
yours? I couldn't find a thread about yours, but I may be missing it
due to sleep deprivation lol. I've never done any sort of racing with
mine but I've always thought about it. There's a guy I know with a
Porsche 914 that keeps asking me if I've taken my Fiero autocrossing
yet. I've been meaning on taking him up on his offer.

Hey bro!! Yup it's me haha. It's weird looking back at all these old pictures of my car. I forgot about some of the old stuff on it, and a couple of these are taken from like the second day after I got it. I really should add some more updated photos..

Nice to meet you.  You obviously take good care of your ride.  Michelle and I also felt it was the kind of experience we need to do again and more often.

Cheers,

DG

Hey, speaking of interiors, I noticed at Arlington almost every suffers from re-formed trim pieces (Due to the heat from the sun). Has anyone tried making a mould of what they're supposed to look like, then heating up the trim until it re-moulds back to the right shape?

Nice to meet you too Dawg! I hope to meet you all again soon. I'm
planning another trip to the mainland in the next couple weeks to go
to kelowna for a week or so.

Thanks kharmata, I replaced the broken interior bits with parts from a
parts car last year. If anyone needs some plastic trim bits, I have
some parts I really don't need lol.

I attempted to reform my shifter surround with a creative use of model
cement, many elastic bands, loads of scotch tape, two old textbooks,
and chip bag springy clip things. It worked pretty well, but after 3
years of summers it's starting to pull apart again.

I could talk to one of my classmates about using a rapid prototyper to
create a mold for one. He keeps asking me if I have anything I want
him to try and make. Might be fun
