I'm planning to go to all of them with my dad and uncle. It'd be really nice to see some other Fieros out there.
The July 31/August 1 weekend is a two day team event. |

Hey Colby...did not know that, how many per
team?...if 4, we could do a WCF team:)...if you and I, anyone else interested?...can also co-drive one car:) I was chatting with Allan today...I hope my car will be ready by then:) |

They're doing teams of 5 drivers, each team needs one novice and one Porsche so that pretty much rules out the possibility of a WCF team.
The three of us are going to make a team. My dad is both a novice and driving a Porsche, so that satisfies both of the requirements. This is my first autox where I'm not considered a novice... still feel like one though. My uncle (Allan) is going to co-drive my car half the time and my dad's car the other half of the time to give us an idea of what they're capable of. This still leaves 2 spots on our team for whoever else, and of course if any more Fieros come out I'm sure they can find teams for them. If your car isn't ready by then you're welcome to drive mine... just don't expect too much from the duke. Actually now that I think about it, even if your car isn't completely ready it might still be better than mine, lol, as long as your clutch is working properly that is. Here is Rich's (the guy who handles the PCA autox stuff) post on their forum:

Awesome. I'm uploading some videos from today right now, but here's one of my runs from yesterday. Unfortunately I didn't get any from the afternoon on that day, so it's a slower one.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4K4NGDeRxkI My dad has some pictures too, I can upload a few later. Can't wait for next sunday! |

Two from today are now uploaded, my uncle and I both drove the car. It was really nice being able to compare my time to his. I feel like I drove fairly well, being a little over 2 seconds behind him. me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8V-dic82h8 him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJ1AErcCENQ |

Waytago Colby! No offence to Brian and his slick GT , but it's nice to hear that little duke roaring around the track! That looks like fun. I may have to check this out for myself.

Again fellow WCF members, I have tried for a few years to get some
of you out, Austin, Nigel, now Colby...lots of fun, affordable and easy on the cars...track is the killer as I am experiencing today (taking a break - cooling the car down)...end of day Colby had fun:) |
