Has anyone been watching it? Although I can't seem to get it on my TV (Never seems to be listed) I've been watching it on the History Channel Website, and frankly, I think it's fantastic. Kinda like Top Gear UK, but with cars you're more likely to see in real life.

Yep I have seen episode 1 and 2, and the cool thing is they will have a Fiero in one of the challenges.  A Gold 86SE V6 4spd.  In the special preview of the show they had a brief clip with the Fiero in it.

I'm gonna go ahead and be the one who doesn't like it.
It is entertaining and all, but i can't stand any of the hosts. I already hated Tanner Foust from his other shows and am not liking the others much either.

I will give it a few more episodes though, let them get to know each other a bit more. If they just tried to be a stand alone show instead of copying TGUK I think it would be better. They even try to use the same lines when their talking.

Either way, Ill still watch it for now.

Yeah, it's gets backed into something of significantly higher mass and rigidity too.

Really? I actually really like the hosts. The comedian is absolutely hilarious, and the other two have a fair amount of automotive knowledge. I know alot of people don't seem to like Foust, and I can see he's a bit nervous so far, but I think once he finds his feet he'll be great. The other two are already awesome, in my books.

As for them more or less copying UK, I don't know if you've seen Australia or Russia (Translated), but they all follow the same general format. And if you remember watching the NBC one-off of Top Gear, where they changed the formula, the backlash was huge. They literally can't change the style.

Television is so screwed up. Why would TopGear be on History Channel and not Speed?

Why would Nascar drivers cooking be on Speed and not Food?
Why would poker be on the Sports channel? AAUURRRGGHHH!

Okay....I feel much better now.

Yeah... I know Speed is a little strapped for cash at the moment, but I'm still trying to figure out why History Channel runs Top Gear. lol

Not from what I've seen, which is bizarre, given how much money they could make broadcasting it here. I've been watching on the History Channel website. It's actually a pretty cool little player. They have little "Chapters" built in to the progress bar (The thing that shows how far in you are relative to the total time) at each of the segments of the show (So for example, last episode had a chapter at the V12 Vantage Review, one for the first part of the Blind Drift challenge one at the Big Star/Little Car, and another for the final part of the Blind Drift challenge). It's really cool, especially if you're wanting to show someone something specific from the show.

I also think Adam is hilarious, and has definitely hit his stride on the show. Some of his lines from last episode were epic. I got in crap for bursting out laughing in class.

Just cause I did not see it mentioned, the Top Gear Fiero episode was on last week.  Which it did receive raving good reviews from the younger kid on the show.  I think his name is  Tanner Foust, he's the guy that drives all the Exotics and reviews them, so for him to say the Fiero was a great car and his choice for GM to revive it, is high praise indeed.

Ya I watched that one last night. Nice to have someone who already has at least 2 shows about driving around in nothing but exotics pick the fiero and like it.
I liked this episode better then most of the previous ones though, even if it was a direct cut and paste from TGUK.

I still say the order of those cars should've been:

1: Cutlass Supreme/Fiero
2: Cutlass Supreme/Fiero
3: Roadmaster.

I'm sorry, but the only thing the Buick has going for it is the LT-1. Apart from that, BORING.

I would honestly take the Rocket motor over the LT1, those things were bullet proof and screamed.  However given all equal things the Fiero would beat all the other cars in any form of real automotive tests.

A standing mile I think the Fiero would've bowed to the Cutlass Supreme, and styling-wise, I actually think that olds is a pretty sexy car, but all-in-all, yes, I agree. I mean hell, the fact the performance driver picked the Fiero pretty much says it all.

So funny during the e-brake tests.   And the rest of it for that matter.  So much fun.

I watched.

It sucked.

Seriously, I thought the program was lame. Are those the best "hosts" they could've found for this show?

Now that I've finally seen one, I won't need to watch any further episodes of Top Gear USA (although I quite like the UK version).

Sorry, just not my cup of tea.
