A silly topic, but I was wondering about what everyone will be sporting to the next autocross event. Post a picture of what you'll be containing your skull in, with or without you in it! I'll start with my hot head helmet:

Isn't yours SA2005? Why upgrade now when they should be good up to probably 2015?

Johnny Boy, have you considered buying different shades of beige and red and actually doing that? It'd be freaking awesome.

And your guys' arn't boring, it's got that definitive racer-vibe to it.

Shameless plug here.   Driver's Edge Autosport seems to have very good pricing.

Please delete this post if it's not appropriate here. But I think safety should be an important topic in high performance driving discussions.

Mine's white as well, but I look upon it a fresh canvas awaiting an artistic touch!

My dad has that one in black too.

Mine is still white, hopefully it'll get something fancy on it later, it just has stickers for now...

You should just doodle something in, Patty. Worst case scenario: You don't like it, and you simply re-spray it to white. I'm working on a sketch based upon a band logo I like. You can find inspiration anywhere!

I'm pretty sure Johnny stole my idea somewhat, as I know at some point months ago I had joked about possibly painting brains on a helmet. (It's okay, John!)

However, instead of having it look like an accident victim with blood and all , I had the aliens from "Mars Attacks" more in mind.

Anne's daughter is quite artistic (and very talented at drawing, etc). Maybe I'll hire her to paint something original on my helmet. Is there a type of paint that would be best to use on these helmets? Something durable that won't scuff off easily?

Enamels are crazy-durable, but they also don't do shades very well (Important for detail work). I think just a standard acrylic water-base would be best, followed up with a few layers of clear-coat to protect it.

I like where Johnny put the eyes.  Think how cool that helmet would look if the person wearing it had goggles with those bulging eyes on 'em that mimicked what Johnny posted.

Can you imagine if all us Fiero drivers at the autocross were wearing these helmets and goggles! We'd be a YouTube sensation.
