Johnny Boy, Clynt, Patrick and myself went to Pick-A-Part today. Johnny Boy strolled up in his high-tech BMW around 10:15 this morning, and off we went. But, we didn't actually go to Pick-A-Part first. We went to a place called Pick-N-Pull (I think?) first. This place. When we got there, we checked in and then headed out to the lot, where we greeted by the sight of dozens of destroyed Smart Cars. Not so smart now, are they? Oh burn. Things within the lot were less inspiring, mind you. There was little there, and what was there was either picked clean, or previously was too warm. ...Oh burn? Well, with that we decided to head back to good 'ole faithful Pick-A-Part. This place. You know, in case you've never seen the giant pink car on the sign before. Scouting out the place, Patty went to look for seats and a larger brake booster. Johnny Boy went looking for a rear wiper motor and armature for his rear window. Clynt hunted for a 4" unribbed pulley (Which proved harder than one might imagine). I searched for 15" steelies for my truck (Which also proved difficult). The unrelenting sun quickly sapped both patience and inspiration. Hell, I ended up just wandering aimlessly through the Fords. A 5.0L Mustang with HO heads was there, but it had no chance of competing with an even better Ford. This one: Tell me you woudn't name it Steve and fight crime together. As Patrick, Clynt and I all gave up on our respective items in favour of nabbing some awesome Tim Hortons chili. We ate and chat for a while. Johnny, Clynt and Patty. Also known as "Those three old guys in th corner". We listened to Rocket Radio on the way home. |

Great little write-up, Tristan. Fun day with the boys. Now if we can just get you to use a flash on your camera.

We hear there's good money to be made buying and selling Fieros.

A flash would've bounced off the window even worse!

Nah, the window was on enough of an angle. Would've been no problem. But hey, I'm glad you took the shots.
