During the Fiero Stripper party we had in the summer of 2010, I ended up with the tranny out of it.  I also have/had the two cables that go with it.

It's the "had" part that's the problem.
I've scoured this whole place for the last 3 hrs looking for them, to no avail.

I know this is a long shot, but...  did I lend them to anyone out there for whatever reason?!
Anyone have a pair they want to sell?!   I need 'em!  And they're 2 months out if I have to go new.

Uhm good Doctor, you must be tired.  You forgot to mention you are looking for Isuzu cables.  They are used on all 4cyl 5spd cars from 85-88.    Only reason I remember is because it was done in my driveway.  Talk to Marcel I gave him a good set and all he needed was one, at some point he was able to locate that One that he needed, so I am not sure if he grabbed it and now has a set of Isuzu cables hanging up some place.

^^ Uh yeah.  What he said.

I just assumed that if you were there, you'd know what we stripped.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Still no answer from Marcel (out of town?).

If you have cables and you're not sure what they're from...  the tranny ends are unique to the Isuzu, and look like this:

Got through to Marcel - no luck - the other pair he has is from a Getrag.

Anyone out in chilliwack way anymore?  Pick-a-part shows 2 4cyl cars, but of course no way of knowing what's left on 'em.

I was just there this morning, they are both autos.
Their website also says auto or manual if you look through their vehicle search.

Doh!  Bummer.  Thanks for checking though!

Looks like I might end up having to do a special order through AutoZone down south.  Could be up to 2 weeks delivery though.  And the 120 mile round trip drive as well.
