Are you planning on changing the lower intake manifold
gaskets while the engine is out? Might be a good idea as I personally know someone who's gone through a couple of sets (in a Venture). There are metal gaskets available that are supposed to be better quality than stock. I've also read that dex-cool is the reason they fail though. |

2.8 is ready to come of the cradle.Got the dog bone in place on the 3400 but still try to get the alternator relocated to the lower part of the motor going to have to make a braket for the alt.Might go out to pick a part to find some kind of braket that will work.Still have to pit the fly wheel on and clutch.

Went to pick a part found a bracket that will work for my alternator hade to do some cutting and grinding to make it work, but almost done will put some pics up when done and painted. The bracket came of a 94 grand prix 3.1 and it was a AC bracket.Today going to find some fuel lines and hope to get them started. Also got new poly bushings for the cradle need to install them also.
