I have a question for all the people with trunk release switches.
Does your switch work when your car is running? Mine only seems to work when my car is turned off. I'm hoping I don't have another electrical problem to locate. I 86 2M4 Edited by Capt Fiero |

Mine does work when the engine is running but it is designed to only work
with the e-brake on when the engine running. It should work anytime when the engine is off. I do not know if it is different with automatics. Edited by 88FieroGT |

Automatics, must be in Park, Neutral or engine off to get it to work. However many people, hotwire it to work all the time.
