The strut tower brace is not really needed on a V6 especially if you have not hacked up the OEM trunk wall brace that goes between the struts. (its under the carpet) As for a rear sway bar, they make the car into a real sports car feel, there is a night and day difference with a rear sway bar.
Talk to Blair and Smurf about it, they have both recently done sway bar installs on there cars, and both really enjoy them. Lisa's V8 has one, I use to have one on my V6 but have not re-installed it since I put in my V8. I really should I have just not gotten around to it. |

If you opt to do it, look into Rodney's sway bar joint kit. He did up a set just for that purpose, and it ends up be a WAY nicer job than just using shortened front links. Tim's got a set on his car.

If they are a solid joint rather than a bolt through with poly, they will work much better. I will end up getting something like that when I redo my sway bar.

It's kind of hard to explain (boy would a picture do wonders here now!) - It's like an outer tie rod end, but really small! Same on each end, and a short link in-between.

I will look at Tim's set up...but other than Fiero Store, can we buy the front & back sway bars locally?. Their kits say they provide the hardware...I look at Dickman's and couldn't find the kit David. Think I'll get the ball joints, tie rods, etc. done first then 2nd stage the sway bars Thanks |

I just went to Rodney's site and could not find it myself. That's totally odd. I sent on an email to him asking about it. When he gets back to my I will post his reply.
This is how Lisa's sway bar is mounted.

Here's the front sway bar mounted in the rear. The way this is mounted it will only work with cars that have had the e-brake removed. Working on that. How-to thread to come. |

It's a stock Fiero front sway bar. Available from club members and scrap yards in your local area. |
