Posted this on craigslist, but i thought id throw it up here too

Quote Im looking for a good starting point on a project fiero, im willing to pay UP TO $1000 for the right car. Im looking for an 85-88 fiero, model doesn't matter, blown motor is fine (its only OK if its non-running if you are not TOO far away from me, as i need to tow it.).

Interior condition doesn't matter too much (but a decent interior would be nice). No severe rust (frame, cradle, trunk or otherwise), surface rust might be OK. Decent exterior condition, missing trim pieces/panels is not a good thing. No cars that have been smoked in (you can never really get rid of it), or cars that have been exposed to the elements (ie// left windows open, and interior is moldy/severely damaged).

So show me what you got.. must have title, and none with salvage titles.

If you want, I have an old Dodge Pickup truck, to save you some money on towing.

A note to whoever...

The mold in the interior needs to be taken care of NOW.  Like tomorrow kinda now!
If you kill it quick it might not spread more.  Try using a light mix of bleach and water, with a scrub brush.  Then get some "A/C duct mold killer" and follow the directions to the letter on the can.

If you don't take care of that fast (since it's getting wetter and warmer by the day) it'll spread over the entire interior and make the car unsafe to even get inside to clean without a full body suit and a fresh air tank.  I kid you not!  Those spores get into your lungs - you're in big trouble.  I've seen a few cars this happened to.

You should probably do the seats as well, even though you can't see anything.  It's a really good idea to pull the belts out all the way, and wipe them down end to end.

Rinse everything down with plain water after you've cleaned it up, then dry it as well as you can.

I'm not trying to pick on this one car BTW.  This can and WILL happen to any car that gets damp in storage.  You'll find the mold starts to grow in spots where you've touched the interior with your bare hands/fingers.
