Hey, I'm working on a sound overhaul for the Fiero, and I just wanted to confirm a couple of things with you guys (As I'm a n00b):

The Fiero's default speakers are 4X6 and 4X10, right?

And is the Fiero's default headunit a DIN and a half?

Merci! Never knew, but Sony makes 4 by 10s. Now the only real challenge will be finding a 1.5 DIN headunit. I was hoping to avoid the Pioneer, but that's looking like I may not be able to at this point...

Or you can just get a mounting kit for $10-15 and wiring harness adapters for a chev for $5-10.
I wanna go fast.

Don't like Single DINs, if that's what you're implying... Might go with one of the tapered Innovatek units, and then put a piece of metal behind the two corners that show.

Well run a single din and put a nice EQ (old school EQ) above or below the deck.  It use to be popular back in the day, mid 80's to stuff a 1/2 din EQ above or below a head unit.  They actually made kits to install it like this.   I realize its not practical now a days with digital everything.  Some decks don't even have a CD / DVD player anymore.    Ah hell, why do we even need stereo's anymore.  My cell phone has more adjust ability than my Stereo when it comes to audio output.  Hmm, maybe I'll just do that, remove the deck, run an amp to all the speakers and just use the line out on my cell to power everything.  Err Wait, My cell does not get AM, which would screw AM1130 News/Traffic.  Ok scratch that.
