Hey everyone. My name is Rob and I recently perchased a 1985 Fiero, found this forum and thought I'd sign up! I noticed a club meeting tomorrow and might stop by with my girlfriend to see some nice cars and dinner.

Without further dely, my new baby!

It needs a few cosmetic touchups, and a tune up (sat for a year before I bought it, but started right up and runs great). I think I got a decent deal on it for $2800 and I love to drive it. It has the 2.8L engine, but the previous owner says it isn't stock and dynoed at 208hp & 231ft lbs. I'm not sure if those are correct, but I know its much faster than my old 165hp turbo sunbird, and I've pulled on my friends 190hp Avenger. I'd say it's not bad, ha ha. It's wierd with the longer gears of a 4 speed, compaired to the 5 speed I'm used to though.

I hope I can make it out tomorrow and meet some of you!

Very nice clean looking car.   As for the HP claims the seller made, it is highly unlikley and if it has a stock intake and close to stock exhaust system its impossible.     New people are always welcome at the meetings, feel free to drop by and say Hi.    I do love that colour, I think it is similar to the colour that Blair has on his car.

Yup, that's the one I bought. On the engine it says it's been bored and stroked to 3.34L among other things, including a cam and crank, and he thought it was an 86, but it was in fact an 85.

His story is he bought it from ICBC (or something) and fixed it up. The motor was done by the owner before him. Again, I'm not sure of the hp claims, but it at least feels quicker than another one I've test driven, and it pulled on a 190hp Avenger (heavy those things are!)

It'll be nice to see everyone's cars again. I think I saw some of you at the 2007 Pontiac show and shine in White Rock. I was there with my black 1990 Sunbird GT Turbo that year. I'm sure I won't remember any faces, but I'll definately remember the cars, lol.

Well specs aside, it's definitely one of the sexier Fiero's I've seen. Nice car.

I'm a fan of the 5 spoke.
