Craigslist - GT Fiero - $100 (Maple Ridge) The price is now FREE. It’s an ‘85 GT with no engine. The engine compartment and interior are thrashed. Nothing much left, although the seats might actually be okay under all that broken glass and crap. However, all the Aero panels are there and they’re all in good shape. I hate to see them get wasted. The nose is also in fairly good shape as is the rear clip. (The rear clip is just hanging there as I took it off to get at the metal plates which sit above the exhaust pipes.) Actually all the body panels are good, except for the hood which has holes in it for locking hood pins, and the decklid which is totally destroyed. I took a bunch of small items from the car, but I had no cordless electric drill with me to drill out the Aero rocker panel rivets. There’s also a manual 4-speed in it and what looks like a brand new passenger side axle. Door glass is excellent. Has electric windows. Tires actually look pretty good (although one is soft). Size is 205/55/16. The car is probably being sent to the wreckers on Thursday, the 9th. Act FAST (like first thing this morning) if you’re interested. Phone Helen at 604 421-0606 If you do go check out this GT and end up getting the Aero panels etc, can you do me a favor (maybe as a "finders fee" ) and check the dash speakers. I forgot to have a look and they might be replacement speakers. If so, can you grab them for me. Thanks. Wear your gumboots, the long driveway is a tad muddy!

Crap! I've just moved from the Lower Mainland to the Okanagan. I've been looking EVERYWHERE for tan door inserts for electric windows as my car has tan interior and I want to convert to electric windows.
If anyone wishes to remove the doors/inserts/switches console bezel/wiring/and possible the center console you'd have $150 from me as soon as I drive down to the lower mainland. So, if someone is so inclined to make a quick $150, here is your chance. |

Just so you know, other than the doors and the door panels, the rest of the stuff is gone and/or thrashed. Well, the center console is okay, but of course there's nothing different with it compared to the one you have (unless the one you have is in bad shape).

The only reason I'm interested in the center console is because I want to put a sub in mine and mine is in perfect condition, so I'd rather try it out on an not-so-perfect one first.
I've been told that to do a proper non-pw to pw conversion you need EVERYTHING so I guess my hunt continues. |

If this GT had been closer than a two hour round trip and if I had a tow dolly and if I had a place to put it, I would've brought it home and stripped it right down. Too many "ifs" though.

Although I wish I could've brought it home to strip, I'm glad to hear that at least it wasn't sent to the crusher.
