Curious to know how many 1988 GT Fiero's still in existence, as such a low number manufactred (under 7,000). Anyone know? or do you know where I could obtain this information.

Various DMV's of North America.
If you're thinking of buying a formula, ask some current owners about it prior to the purchase. As it's an 88 parts are more rare and expensive, etc. |

Just make sure it's not another one of the "phantom" Fieros that regularly appear in Craigslist, such as the following one... 88 Fiero Formula - Not Running - $750 (GVRD)Reply to: sale-nt98t-1254807052@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Patrick, you're such a conspiracy theorist. Talking about "phantom' Fieros, like they're stalkers in the night.

I already own a 1988GT and have for some years. LOVE iT. Before the 88 I had a 87GT until someone stoled it. CRY +++++. It's just out of interest I'm asking my question regarding the 88GT'S. Thank you for your input, enjoy the chatter.

Well sure, I'm having some fun with this, but it doesn't negate the fact that there's some dolt (probably some loser living in his parent's basement) who's getting some perverted thrill from advertising non-existent Fieros. At the club meeting I gave several examples of these ads. I've lost track of all the Fiero ads I've responded to as soon as they were posted, with no word in return. The weirdest one by far however, was reported Here and Here. So, is it you posting these ads, Matt?

It couldn't be me. I wear glasses and Superman doesn't. Err I mean... It couldn't be me. I don't live in my parent basement.

Well for the record we have it least 5 88GT's in the local club, and 3 or 4 more 88 Formulas.
