We would need more info, what metal pipe, where under the car. There are 2 main coolant pipes that run under the car one on either side, as well as 2 smaller pipes that run near the middle of the car. The larger pipes are nearly impossible to replace without a hoist. So if those are leaking, the most common option is to cut out the leaking section and replace it with a rubber hose, or take it to an exhaust shop that has stainless pipe and have a new section welded in.

its liek a long pipe under the passenger and driver side goes right across and also the pipe that goes to the radiator in the front of the car gets really really hot is that because of the coolant?

At this point. I am going to suggest you take the car to a professional qualified mechanic.
