STOP Before you do ANYTHING, hit Reply and let me know that you are planning on coming, with how many people in your group and how many days you plan to stay.

Earl's by the River Campground
tel: 604-824-9081
Per night: $15
Address: 46171 Chilliwack Lake Road, Chilliwack
(604) 824-9081

Earl's by the River Campground is located on Chilliwack Lake road just 20 minutes from downtown Chilliwack, along the clear clean waters of the Chilliwack River.

No registration is needed as Lisa and I already took care of that last weekend.  We put a deposit on the site as well.

Lisa and I will be leaving here around 3pm on Friday for the site.  We will have Duke with us as well.

We are bringing our large stand up BBQ on the trailer which will be open for use.

Cost is 10$ per person for the site, payable to Lisa.  The club has put down a $50 deposit, so the first 50 goes back into the club account and the rest will be given to Earl.

This event is welcome to all ages and family members, however just so you know ahead of time, this event does usually involve some rather adult conversations and mature, (or immature) actions depending how you look at it.

Alcohol will be on a BYOB, (bring your own booze) basis. Don't worry there will be at least one sober Person as Lisa can't drink.   We should have some extra cooler space to keep your drinks cool.

As mentioned earlier, we have the BBQ however you supply your own food.

We would like to get all the Fiero's parked as close together as possible, nosed in towards the camp site.

This is Native land, which to be frank, means the regular government parks laws don't apply and frankly from the last few times we were there, I don't think he cares about any laws.

I will have my Cell Phone with Laptop so emergency emails can be retrieved and even uploading pics of the event on the fly back to the club site.  There will also be 110v outlet via an inverter in my car.  Will bring 1 if not 2 booster boxes.  Even in single mode they will start a completely dead Fiero, and if ran twin, they can start just about anything, including a 24v tractor system.

Side note, Duke will be tied up at all times, unless we are down at the river letting him play.  He loves playing in the water.        If you have never met Duke or have not seen him in a while, please let Lisa give the introduction.  Its basically so he knows you are NOT a threat to her and he'll be fine with you.  He is a very great loving dog, however is really over protective especially with Lisa.    There shouldn't be any issues, but I wanted to give you all the heads up just in case.

Oh side note, anyone that is using Spray on bug Spray, we would appreciate that you did it away from Lisa, Doc said any type of Aerosol bug spray is a major No-No for her.

     GMRS Radios are CH 20.

Only driving rule is, no drifting or drag racing in the camping area.  Please take it out to the street if you want to have a little fun and drive like a maniac.

On an odd note, anyone have a projector that can take a VGA input.  Would be fun if we brought some newer movies, Like the new Fast and Furious, Transformers 2, Terminator something, Star Trek, then cook up some campfire goodies and kick back and watch it on a sheet hung between 2 trees in the outdoor.

I would if I had the equipment. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE paintballing. I still think we should have a fastback versus notchie battle on the paintball course some time. Would be funny.

On a more serious note, does ANYONE have any spare room in their car? I can buy a tent, but I'll need a drive out there. Please let me know if you can.

Never shift into reverse without a back-up plan.
