Ok Guys,

Does anyone know of any deals going on winter tires. I have the 86 GT with all the same at 15" - I'm happy to put rubber on those rims and get them cleaned up in the spring or change?

I was talking with Blair as I was offered 215/60/R15 = $600 fitted.

Blair suggested I maybe considered 205/65/R15 snows - give a little more traction.

I use as daily driver and the weather is not always going to be snow but cold, and on the highway I don't want to be slow!!! Want something that will carry me over to springtime.

Any feedback or deals that anyone knows of Please post for me.

Blair suggested Abb Surrey.

Capt Fiero - Blair said we sometime did a deal with one particular tire company, if so who is it?

Want to get this done Friday or Saturday at the latest.

Cheers - FieroZen

I bought my snowtires for my MINI from National Tire Wholesale at 7447 River Road, Delta, BC.

I bought a set of Nexen (described by Simon or Mike at NTW as "private label Michelin") snowtires for about $70 each.  I also got aluminum wheels for about the same price as steelies.   One of the guys that work there drives a Fiero.   I asked if they would give the discount pricing for Fiero club members and they told me to just mention the club name.   I usually deal with Mike or Simon.  You can also mention that I recommended you and I drive a MINI also.  The discount is somewhere around $5 or $10 off their already discounted prices per tire.   Then they charge a fee for mounting and balancing.  I think it's $25.

Well, I got my Winter Tires today. Thanks to the club members who responded with names of Tire shops etc.

I very quickly noticed how much better the Fiero tracks with the winter tires. I did get the Goodyear Nordic's - not noisy at all.
