$4900 obo

I have a near perfect 87 Fiero GT with 123,000 original km
This one has the 2.8 V6 and Getrag 5spd, rare interior option with grey suede and leather seats.

It runs excellent and sounds unbelievable!
all original, (including all the paint, which is in excellent condition. Recently clay barred and waxed.)
except for lowering springs/kyb shocks and struts, new acrylic fastback windows, egr delete, cat delete, k&n intake, ADS superchip, near new falken ziex tires,
Just installed ngk plugs/8mm wires and msd blaster 2 coil.
plus some more.

just passed aircare easily!!!
Clutch is good and strong, tranny is excellent, the car blows no smoke and pulls good
There’s no rust anywhere on the car, not just because of the fiberglass and plastic body either!

**update- installed new pioneer speakers in rear and just put in new ngk plugs!

***second update!!- new battery just installed!

price lowered, would like to sell before summer's over, make an offer!

hard to find another Fiero in this condition for sale!!

looking to trade for jdm car, sport truck, 4x4, diesel, sas' etc...

six o four 581 0476

You would trade a mid-engined sports car for a JDM pretender? Blasphemer.
Never shift into reverse without a back-up plan.

excuse me? ever seen my username haha!

but i already have a nissan skyline, and it's just about superior in every way to my Fiero.... if you dont agree, you're living inside a box..

go ahead and ban me or whatever, but hating on JDM's is ridiculous....

and "mid engine sports car?" i could still get a imported MR2 turbo, waaay faster, better handling, more reliable and better quality.

sorry if you guys dont agree.....

I'll agree that a skyline would be better. It was built on better technology that had been refined for many years. It was also meant to be more expencive and better performing. I don't think many of this applies to the Fiero, despite some it's decent performance specs.

I do believe the MR2 Turbo did not exist until 1989 or 1990 and produced ~200hp. Which is very close, if not slightly less powerful than the prototype DOHC V6 which was developed for the legendary 1990 Fiero.

I find the Fiero was mostly slapped together form pre-existing cars of the time, and GM did not want to see the car succeed at all. Concidering the resistance from the brass to even build the car, I'd say what was accomplished was pretty impressive, especially in 1988 and the prototype.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Fiero, but I know it isn't some kind of mid-engine supercar. But I'd still prefer it to an MR2 of the same year. It's kind of Apples and Oranges to compare them if you ask me, despite the fact that they seem so similar.

I think this video sums up some of this nicely.

Both are great cars. One had to fight it's own company.

Ya, i dont like how people compare fieros to MR2's. Year for year, id take a fiero every time. If the fiero had continued as long as the MR2, id still pick the fiero.

sure, i would definitely rather have a fiero than an mr2 of the same year hands down. but to an mr2 with a 3sgte......no competition, some jdm models had around 240hp.

prototypes/concepts never count.

Either way, for whatever reason you want to sell, I wish you good luck. The car looks amazing and anyone would be lucky to have it.

I see your ad on Craigslist has provoked a couple of responses there. Weird. I didn't post 'em!

I'm not going "ban" anyone or give warnings, but I think closing this thread is in the best interest of all parties.  Just one word of advice to everyone on this forum.  Bashing Fiero's on a forum of People that are here because they love Fiero's is usually a bad thing.  The founding rule of the club is "be nice"  if you can't do that, don't let the door hit you on the way out.
