Steve, as I mentioned to you at the last meeting, we really REALLY want to see (and hear!) this beautiful Fiero on the local autocross track! Any progress in regards to passing AirCare?

Aircare...........The bane of my existance.
The car is in the shop, it got a larger high efficiency cat and they are looking at altering the tuning a little to lean it out a bit, as it runs too rich. It is in the hands of pros. Fingers crossed............... |

Hey, congratulations. That's great news! Does the car now appear to run/idle better since you had the work done?

I can say that you will need R-Comps to keep this baby glued to the track:)...I have some 17" rims for a real good price, and we can find you some V710 tread...then this would equal amazing...lol Look forward in seeing the car |

car definately runs better and picked up some HP. Idle is still an issue, now it is too high.Part of the problem is the dakota digital calibrater. it needs to be wired differently as it is getting interference and causing speedo jump at idle which causes the idle to change.
Working on getting a new chip burned, hopefully one for airescare and one for daily driving that I can swap out. I am running Fuzion ZRi's that will have to do, no cash for more tires at the moment. So far they grab very well. |

Thanks,
I wanted to do it but work got in the way. Love the drive up the sea to sky. I am hoping to get it out to a meeting before the end of summer. |
