Well, since we did it last year... why not once more.
I won't bother with the fancy spreadsheet this time though. 5.656 US Gallons. 233 KM's 233 / 1.61 = 144.72 miles 144.72 / 5.656 = 25.59 US MPG (might as well go with the EPA spec again) Not horrid for a 4spd. |

No one is going to believe this, and frankly I would not believe it either if I had not done it personally. 230kms, 3.672 gallons. Roughly 35mpg if my numbers are correct. I knew my numbers were going to be good this time. I ramped all the tires up to 40psi, and I kept my foot out of it. Ya I drove fast, but not all the Foot to the Floor accelerations, just got it up to 120-130kph and cruised. I have video of the pump filling, and I have a pic of the pump at finished and a photo of the dash showing the mileage. |

well I filled up with 8.945 gallons just after the boader, as you know drivng was a mix, stuck to the speed limit all the way home. Filled up with 5.14 US gallons just around the corner Clock reads that I did 269 / 1.61 = 167.08 miles as I arrive home. 167.08 / 5.14 = 32.49 MPG Excellent, my best ever return. |
