This doesn't sound like a guy who wants to sell his beloved Fiero GT. Hope this means you're planning to hang on to her. Be great if you could find a deal like This.

That's what I am looking for...and if I get this leak & clutch fluid dealt with, I'll be keeping her...even new tread:).
This was a great deal...I am willing to buy from FS new, but install in my concern and hope to find help with that. I do want to fix the electrical and have the option to turn on the MSD for autox, but for daily driving there's no need...and kill my alarm. So let's chat soon...Bb |

my deal was better for the ones i got :) ....30 bucks ...pick a part ...best deal i think i ever found at a wrecker ! but really i really good set of ported and welded stockers will do the trick ..these are not worth the gains for the cash |

I agree, but even if I went to Kool Coat (http://www.koolcoatceramiccoatings.com/headercoatings.html) and get stock ones ceramic coated that's $300, but of course porting prior to which I have no idea what that may be.
These used ones would have been a great deal, but these or the Truleo I have considered for years:). No rush currently and with recent incidents at home with our cat, my budget has had a kick in it's ass!...appreciate more input as it's time to get this done...but I need to confirm the leak is my problem, how best to check this?. I also have a Fiero Store order for a few small items...anyone need anything? Cheers |

What gaskets would be best with these Sprint headers?

Welding stock ones won't work. You have to remember the stock exhaust manifolds are around 30 years old. Mine were welded twice. Both times they spring another leak within 6 months of "fixing" them. The cost in labour either your own time or a mechanic's of pulling them off, and reinstalling with new gaskets, isn't worth the effort. They will leak again. I say get new manifolds, either sprint headers or some other new replacement exhaust manifold. |
