Ok I was going to trade the glass to a member to get the windshield in my 88GT re-sealed, it does not leak water however I noticed on the Vegas trip that it made a slight whistle while I was on the highway, and when I pushed up on the glass the whistle got much louder so I am assuming the glue has dried out. Once Blair explained how much work that the job actually is, I think I will just take it to a glass place and have it done. So here is the deal. The glass is in a car at the moment, it will fit any Fiero. You are responsible for removing it and transporting it. It must be removed by Saturday August 25th. I am taking a gas powered chop saw to the car Saturday morning. So if it is still in there, it will get broken. I am chopping the car into 3 main parts. The front end will become a trailer, the back end will have the motor removed and the passenger compartment once stripped down will be taken out for scrap. The only sellable parts have been sold, the rest of the car I am keeping. However if you here when I chop it up, you may request an odd or end piece be saved. However I am not going to take my time on this. |

I don't plan on cutting up the rear area around the fender liners. I am going to make the rear cut at the doors and save everything from the firewall back as one piece.

Dave, you wouldn't have a driver's seat (in any shape)? I can use one soon. |

Sorry I am going to save the seats for the time being. If I do decide to sell them, I will let you know and you will have first dibs on them.

Dave.. guess you didn't get my message about the windshield. I have been away in Desolation Sound and so could not get to you but I do need the windshield. Is it still there?

I could not bring myself to destroy the glass, so the saw was held off until more of the car can be taken apart. The glass is still in once piece.
