Hey everyone, it's me. I've finally got around to trying to piece Gretchin back together and continue attending meetings. Only problem: I have nothing to put in the back of the car. The major things I'm lacking are:

  1. The cradle. I'll need an '85 - '87 V6 cradle, if anyone has one for sale, let me know, I'm a reasonable fellow.
  2. An engine. Preferably would be a stock V6, however I'll look in adapting anything (Except the Duke) if the price is feasible.
  3. A transmission. I always loved my deep-ratio four-speed, but I'll consider any manual transmission that'll bolt up without being too fussy.

If you have any of the parts for sale (Or just want gone) please, feel free to let me know. I'm hoping to stitch her back together soon so I can get back to blessing you all with my presence.

Send Fire451 a PM he was thinking about parting out his car as well, and that was a V6 4spd complete with cradle.

You can have the cradle I have at Dave's for $25.  Minus the mounts, which is why I bought it.  It's in nice shape too.  I think it even has poly all around.

PM me

You dream it up....I'll make it

I will do that if I can't get 451's set-up, as I'll be needing the mounts too.

Sounds fair enough. Again, still hoping to hear back from Fire451, as if he has the whole package, might be better just to nab the whole shebang.

Alright, Tino and Dawg, I'm going to take you up on both your offers (If you still have them, of course). I'll send a PM to each of you.

If anyone has a transmission, please, feel free to drop me a PM or post here!

Dawg's cradle is at my place ready for pick ASAP.  As in I would like it gone.  I am tired of moving it around.  Its currently on my trailer.

Didn't you and I talk, I found you a trans.  Former forum member Copbait, has one.  He can't remember if it is a 4spd or a 5spd, but I believe he said 50 bucks.  I can pm you his contact info if you want the trans.

Another option would be to buy Austins complete coupe with the 5spd, raid all the cables, brackets and related parts as well as any other parts you might want to save for your car.  Like spare suspension stuff, interior stuff, fenders and such.  Austin only wants 100 bucks for the entire car.  Its a 4cyl though so the engine won't be any use to you, but the rest of the car would be great for parts.

I had thought that was the case, but I have a goldfish
memory. As for Austin's car, I might do that if I get
desperate, but I'm hoping to cut as much unnecessary
labour out of the equation as I can, trying to get this
all done ASAP.

I would appreciate that contact info though, yes please.
