Topic: A Stereo to end all Stereo Installs Posted: 12 November 2007 at 8:09pm |
Arun is one of our local club members. He just got done with a rather large stereo project, he brought it by for me to take a look at. What gets me is the sheer labor to do the install and the planning made to get it to all work. There are a total of 6, 8" subs. There are speakers in the seats as well, plus the dash speakers. Everything is powered via amps in a custom rack in the front compartment. Sorry I did not get pics of the amp rack. The car has LED's around each speaker, neons under the car and strobe lights in both front marker lights, rear bumper and even one under the intake plenum in the engine bay, which makes it look like a giant spark in the engine. The seats are custom done at a local shop, in the pics the fabric does not look right, not sure why, it is a sort of velvet feel to it. Unbelievably comfortable. I just thought that a few of you on here would get a kick out of the system. Feel free to post up questions and I will try and direct him to this thread.

WOW, I think it will end here, anyway very very unique.....(more pics) ! (My friends and family thought my stereo looked big?) Is the rear window blacked out or can you see back of subs? Arun, you'll have to lead the Christmas light cruise "playing Christmas Carols" he, he, he |

The rear window is tinted so you cant see in but that would have been a good idea. More pix to come soon.

Just curious what kind of DB do you think you are going to get out of the car. Are the cheap DB monitors any good. I think they are all boomsticks. Basically a hand held decibel meter. They were really cheap, under 40 bucks if I remember correctly.
