OK Everyone. I am planning to repaint my car. Currently it is Rossa Corsda red. While I like red it seems everyone has a red Ferrari and maybe it might be nice to repaint it a differnet color. Here are the examples of all the colors for the 1985 Ferrari 308 GTSi
Metallic Argento (Silver) 101-C Metallic Azzuro (Light Blue) 505-C Metallic Blu Chiaro (Blue) 503-C Metallic Blu Medio (Medium Blue) 506-C Metallic Blu Sera (Blue) 504-C Metallic Grigio (Grey) 700-C Metallic Marrone (Maroon) 800-C Metallic Nero (Black) 901-C Metallic OroChiaro (Tan) 104-C Metallic Prugna (Prune) 306-C Metallic Rosso (Red) 305-C Metallic Verde Chiaro (Green) 602-C Metallic Verde Scuro (Green) 603-C Non Metallic Bianco (White) 100 Non Metallic Giallo (Yellow) 102 Non Metallic Nero (Black) 1240 Non Metallic Rossa Corsa (Red) 300-6 and this is of course what I have now.
Please don't be shy about your preferences. At this time I really don't know what I want so please let me know your preferences. |

Well, the Non Metallic Rossa Corsa red looks pretty damn good on a Ferrari. I suspect they're supposed to be that color.

My personal opinion, every car looks better gloss black.

Have you considered why Ferraris are most often red or black? Ferrari comes from a racing heritage, and this is why cars like Ferrari's are commonly sold in red or black only, to signify this heritage. On the other side of the fence is a brand like Lambourghini, which while exotic, doesn't come from a racing heritage in the least. As such, colors such as lime green, orange and yellow are often acceptable, where they wouldn't be on a Ferrari.
As to the original topic, I personally don't see any particular reason to change the color at all. Yes, everyone has a glossy red Ferrari, but there's a reason for that - That is the quintessential Ferrari color. My own taste, I'd keep the current palette, maybe just refresh it if needed. |

With your tan interior, I'm liking the dark green(s), and charcoal.

i would have to agree with john (dr.fiero) but I also like the black, the only thing with the dark colors is that ANY body defects are accentuated. the other out of the box color is the Metallic Verde Scuro (Green) 603-C |

A tan interior does seem to limit your choices IMO,
I was going to say blue but that would look odd with tan so I would have to vote red or black. Yellow looks cool too but I had a yellow Saturn SC2 and it got old quickly but maybe that was just my ADD lol |

Hmmmm....The grey, 700-C looks sophisticated I think. On the other hand, if this is your "toy", Yellow rules the roost.
I'm partial to the lighter colors because they allow the black trim and accessories to stand out more. This is one reason why I will be painting our trim all gold on our black Fiero. DG |
