I just bought a 86 GT and the driver side quater window is gone. Is there 'WestCoast Fiero Club' in Victoria. Would it be cheaper to try and find someone in the club or just buy it off ebay?

Those panels are relatively rare. You might want to have a peek at This thread at PFF to see what people are going through to get them. Both panels are cracked on my '86 GT as well, so I'm closely watching that thread to see what eventually transpires. And congrats on your first post here...

The other option is (and has been for years!) Dougs Fiero Warehouse:
I don't know anyone personally who has a set of his, but... I might just bite the bullet and get a pair (planning on painting my car soon). |

Parting out which car John???. I have a Original window still in wrap and box, would consider $450 which is what I paid for it...lol. To find original quarter windows, good luck, this one took me 2 consistant years on ebay and in general search. The aftermarket ones are nice, but all depends on how much "stock" detail you want to maintain for your car. PS...I am still in search of the other side if anyone see's or hear's f one:) |

Hmm, I hadn't checked up on that thread for a while, but it looks like someone's picked up the ball and by July there might be some pretty good replacements. The poster has photos of aluminum CNC'd molds and should be getting the first tests done by late May.
You might want to gamble and unload that OE window fast Bassman :) although I don't see how even the best repro could match up to factory in every way, simply because nobody would be willing to invest as much as GM did into production of the windows. These ones at least should be shaped closer than any previous repros, though. Edited by Borteep |

Hmm...sell my window, maybe if I saw how this project turns out as to find the other side new OEM window, who knows when one may come up to buy...like a needle in a hay stack.
