Just doing some maintenance on the 88 as I am driving it every day right now. Forgot how hard brake pads are to find in any sort of decent compound for the 1988s - finally went with EBC Greenstuff (I use Redstuff on the Solstice and have been very impressed with them). Ordered a Fiero Store replacement EGR tube, another of those things I've been meaning to get around to as there is a small leak in the one in there. Just wondering how much of a pig of a job doing the dew wipes for the side windows is. It looks like it could be pretty frustrating (did an electric window replacement on the Jensen Interceptor last summer and swore off anything like that again as being too much back pain!). Is this a job I should better leave til later, given that the car is for sale? A nice little job for a new owner....? |
