I found these markings. 866 4l80 CFD 910 hydra-matic. Wht tranny is
this and what'd it come from? |

Doing some Bing Searches assuming its a 4spd Auto, you have a 4T60 trans. I don't belive you have a 4T80 as that is a MONSTER of a trans, at I belive nearly 500lbs The 4T60's were used in most 3800 powered cars and the 4T65 HD were used on stock Supercharged cars.

It's no longer slipping, the tv cable needed adjusting. The po never had
it hooked up. |
