I can see the thumbnails Dave, but if I click on anything all I get is the Facebook Login page.

I have got about 15 more pics to post that I got from Tim, I'll try and get them posted tonight before I hit the sack.

On a side note, I am getting really pissed at ABC, I called to reserve the banquet room for this weekend and got told by some Indian sounding lady that I can't reserve it as they don't take reservations on the weekends.  I said uhm this is for the banquet room and I got a blank sounding reply. I asked for the manager, and she said they would have to call me back.  They never did and when I tried to call again, later tonight I got no answer.  I ' ll have to try again in the morning.

Oh yeah, the larger ones are fine (but they aren't "links" like the smaller ones).

I might as well take this opportunity to mention that a maximum width of 800 pixels for any image posted works best for those of us who are NOT currently using wide-screen monitors. It's really frustrating when wider pictures are posted, because not only can the whole picture not be seen without scrolling side to side, but even trying to read the posts in the rest of the entire thread becomes very difficult as the text now stretches beyond the width of the screen. Scrolling back and forth from side to side to read each line of text in all the posts becomes old really fast.  This is becoming more and more of a problem at PFF and it sometimes occurs here as well. (Even in this thread that one large image above of the map is 882 pixels and it causes a problem.)

Yep I generally, try to resize to a width of 800x600 or 1024x768

As a side note, open up a thread, and hold the control key down and scroll the mouse wheel up or down, it will shrink or enlarge everything, so the images take up less screen and fix problem threads with over sized images.

The problem with 1024x768 is that this is the resolution that most people use with their non-widescreen monitors. If an image that size is posted in a thread, it won't fit because of the column to the left which prevents the image from filling the screen. The image gets pushed off the right side by a couple of inches and then everything is totally borked, not just that one image, but all text appearing in the whole thread.

That doesn't work for me. Some of the text headings change size, but it has absolutely no effect on the images. This particular computer is still running Win98, but I'll try that trick on an XP box.

OMG Win98 even microsoft stopped supporting that,  they don't even release security updates for it.

When you do upgrade from 98, skip Windows 2000 / Milineum, skip XP and go straight for WIndows 7.   It is the best OS to come out of MIcro$sof in a huge long time.   Don't even consider Vista, even microsft admits it, Visa was a large failure.

Dave, I'm posting from my XP box now. (XP Pro SP2) It still makes no difference, image size is unaffected.

Do you possibly have some other software or utility running? Or is there some mouse setting you've tweaked?

I know it works on at least Windows Vista, I am running Windows 7 on all my main rigs, and it works great on 7.  I have one computer down in the garage running Windows XP Pro Corp SP3 I'll try it on that, and report back.

Nope works just fine in XP as well.   Just click on part of the page, ie the body of the page,   Then hold down the control key.  Bottom Row far left and far right of the keyboard, while holding it down, scroll up or down with your mouse.

I have tried it with 2 different Logitech mice and a MS Intelimounse.

Alternativly don't you have a "zoom level" option in the lower right side of your screen,

When you have IE open, can you go to help and see what version of IE you are using.  Help/About  I am running IE 8 on all our machines, even the XP machine.

I'm running IE6, and there's no Zoom option at the lower right hand corner.

As I said earlier though, if I do what you suggested, various text headings (but not the images) will change size.
