This came from my 87GT and is factory 87GT colour Med Red Metallic.  It will fit any year or model Fiero as all hoods were the same.

I am only selling it to fund the cost of supplies to finish my current car.  With a baby on the way, I have decided my car hobby will have to support itself by selling the parts I don't need to continue with the build.

That is pretty.

As for functionality does the venting keeps the lights from popping up at high speeds? Does it help at all with rad cooling?

Would this be difficult to re-create.
I wanna go fast.

Yes on both counts.

And for those of you that have destroyed a hood or light cover/hinge from having them pop up (or worse, you loose a windshield when it really goes wrong) -- this is chump change.

It also improves high speed stability by not having a high pressure air pocket up front.

Yep basically what the doctor said.   Car runs cooler, more stable at high speeds and greatly more stable at Ultra high speeds.   You will notice it being less twitchy at 120kph and at speeds around 180kph up to 220kph it is amazing the difference.   If you want to see what the damned POP SNAP damage can be done from repeated trips over 190kph, just check out the drivers headlight door on my 88GT.  If I was not so dead against modding the body of the 88 it would already have a set of sunbird vents or grill vents like these.   I chose to go with the cowl hood on my 85/87GT build more for the "Look" than the function vs the other vents.      This would be a great starting point for someone looking to mod there car, it could use some sanding and painting to be perfect as the previous owner did not do that great of a job installing the vents as you can see in the pics there are a few bits of paint that have peeled off.   Aside from that, the vents were a rather clean install.
