Thanks again guys!  I know I HATE AUTOMATICS!  I've been looking FOREVER for a nice Fiero down here, nothing!  I even have to go to CA to get this one... I wanted stick, an dgrey interior.. not tan.. but what this car is missing it makes up for in other areas I think...it seems reasonable for the condition it is in...doesn't it?

How much of a pain is it to switch from automatic to stick??

I thought that was already addressed?

Lots.

I have an automatic '86 GT and I plan to sell it and buy a standard rather than convert this one over.

Listen to Patrick on this one. It is a nasty nasty job to switch from Auto to Stick. I have done the job myself on my 85GT which was auto when I bought it and I converted it to a 5spd.   1st you NEED to have the donor car sitting right next to your car you are converting. There are TONS of little parts you will need. If you don't have a donor car you can spend thousands trying to get all the odd parts together. I have owned my 85GT since I was 17 and I am 32 now. The only way I would let it go, if prying it from my cold dead hands. What I am saying is DON'T buy an Auto if you really want a stick.
