Fieros in Port Alberni

   I was on a short mini-vacation for five days that took us up to Powell River, and then over to Comox/Courtenay, and then to Port Alberni and Long Beach (Ucluelet to Tofino) before coming home via Nanaimo. Loved it over there. Long Beach was a blast. Yes, we braved the freezing water and did battle with huge waves crashing over our heads. We had a humongous section of the beach to ourselves. Dogs were supposed to be on-leash, but we let Frankie off because there were miles of sandy beach (actually, 10 km) with hardly anyone on them.
Anyway, the real point of this thread was to mention that I spotted not one, but two Fieros in Port Alberni. The first one spotted was a silver '87-'88 coupe driving on the highway just west of town, and the second one was a black bumper-pad notchie parked just east of the dike along the river.
I thought it was great to see two Fieros in a relatively small community like Port Alberni (population, about 20,000) when I basically never see any Fieros in the Lower Mainland except at club functions.

	I didn't take my camera (which was unusual), but I did take my camcorder. I shot lots of video footage of Frankie at Long Beach and at Cathedral Grove, but no, I didn't take video of any Fieros seen along the way.
