1985 GT with proper seats and a fast back conversion OR
1986 GT with 85 seats.

Also looks like options include, tilt, pw, air, cruise and electric hatch

Also looks like a 5-spd w/ a 180km/h speedo!
I wanna go fast.

'85 was a notchback-only year, bud. It's either an '86+, or a conversion.

What engine does it have in the back?

Never shift into reverse without a back-up plan.

does it have a center brake light? I can't make it out in the top pic.

If yes, it's more than likely really an 86.

If not, it's a converted 85.

Shift pattern LOOKS like a 4spd from here.

Well..... It's still possible that some one went to the extra trouble of
moving the center light over during the conversion. Guess that shows
extra workmanship!   :)

Check the VIN to be sure though. Post it if you can't decode it yourself.

LOL, should we be checking both vins at this point, or signs of vins being moved, LOL.

hmmmmm. Hadn't even thought about the tag swap angle.

Compare the one on the dash to the one on the door to the one up
under the dash (that most people don't know about!), and then look at
the edge of the bellhousing where the last 6 digits are.

Still, an amazing machine. You shouldn't have any troubles selling it for $1500.
