What would that nose look like with the centre opening reduced in height to only the size of the silver "aero" part? In other words, don't have the opening intrude into the red "coupe" nose part, have the centre opening the same height as the lower brake vents. It's all very subjective, but right now the "mouth" looks way too big IMO. |

It's got a Maserati vibe right now. Maybe a little Aston Martin.

Hmm... Not sure if I'm as big a fan of these ones. From an aesthetic standpoint, I personally don't find them as attractive as your earlier work, and from an aerdynamic standpoint, I see less flow volume but the same amount od drag.

So why did you stick a license plate on these two latest variations when it wasn't on the earlier ones? Let's get that sucker off of there! As I had stated earlier though, I'd also like to see the center opening the same height as the larger custom brake vents. Yes, the same larger custom brake vents which have now disappeared! Jeez, it's difficult to get good help these days! Don't worry about Tristan's concerns about "less flow volume". If this was a real Fiero, I suspect enough air would hit the rad coming up off the lower air dam.

My point is that there's already going to be turbulence there from the fact there's airflow; Making it a small orifice where air will struggle to get through will increase turbulence, and thus drag, while simultaneously minimizing the amount of total volume of air flowed. If you're going to have an inlet, and thus a turbulent area - take advantage of it!

Tristan, what speeds need to be reached for all this "turbulence" to be causing us an issue? In other words, are we designing a race car or are we discussing mods for the typical grocery-getter Fiero that most of us putt around town in?

The licence plate is there because I was having a hell of a time getting that section to look right, so I cheated...I'm sorry I will see what I can do to make it more like you were saying Patrick OK Romeo, I'll make another and see what we come up with...maybe the next idea is more to your liking!! |

HELL YES, FIRST GEN SUPRA! As for your question Patty, turbulence doesn't necessitate any speed - it's effect will happen any time there's airflow. It will scale up and become more and more noticable as speed goes up, and while you might not notice the reduced top speed, what one would notice is the reduced gas mileage (Especially on the highway) as a result of it. There's one thing I really tried to specialize in at school, it was aerodynamics. lol |

Another good game which has a Nexus is Starcraft, and it's sequel. So, are you an excellent fibre-glasser like our own Johnny Boy and Clynt? Any plans to bring the photoshops to fruition? |
