So it looks like at some point in Tims cars life it was T-Boned and fixed.  We had no idea what was under there until we started the body work on the rest of the car.  He is sanding the car down for paint.  When this fell off.

Tims Bondo Any Suggestions?

You might need to sand off the rust, primer and paint the metal part.   Then the plastic part, cover with fiberglass, sand smooth and maybe bondo, then paint.

I would dig all that old Bondo out to see what is under there.  If the metal looks ok but just rusty, I would sand blast the rusty stuff, primer then Duraglass, then a little Bondo, primer and paint.

If there's any bad weak spots, I would weld some good sheet metal over the old and finish it up like above.

ooh  not good.

i would wire remove anything close, wire cup it to remove the bondo and rust and apply "metal ready" and "POR15" before making further repairs.

if it was serious, cut and weld in a new piece from another car...
