Well everyone has seen or heard of the direct plug in replacement MSD Blaster II Coil for the Fiero. Well MSD seems to have updated the design, thankfully they kept the same plugs, but the install is different, you have to assemble the sides and then adapt the old bracket to the new coil. I don't have the specs on whether they improved the power or not, but I am sure they had a reason to update the design. Price seem to be unchanged and even the part number is the same. Our local guys buy from Performance Parts Centre in Langley BC. www.captfiero.com/ppc
Both cars have MSD Caps, MSD Wires and MSD Rotors. I just wish MSD made an ignition module that worked on these cars. We just spent 2 days tracking down a problem that turned out to be an intermittent problem with a 3 month old generic ignition module. Old MSD Blaster II New MSD Blaster II Coil |

Now I know what you called about...lol, I would be interested to see if there is a performance improvement as my coil is the old style from last year, and with my new MSD box, would there be a benefit?.
