Coming from Vancouver Island myself, here is a drive I have always wanted to do, but have not had the chance to. The last time I was going to do it, the roads were not paved yet.   Does anybody know if the roads on this entire route is paved yet? Could be a club drive in the planning for me (albeit, expensive).

The road in in a few sections:

Vic to Jordan River...good shape, fairly city driving

Jordan to Renfrew, paved, but rough in spots. Very curvy in spots. Lots of fun.

Renfrew is paved but rough 1/3 of the way to lake cow (fairly flat and straight), then the road gets really good, and also curvy, with every type of corner...some tight with elevation, some long curves flat etc. There was a patch 4 long which was 'gravel' but in good shape the last time I went to Renfrew. I heard it's all paved now. Lake cow to Duncan is open highway, speed unlimited.

most of the time.   I have seen the odd car pulled over.   But in the summer, usually speed is limited by an RV in front of you.
