Gnarley. Perhaps we should make a thread/list? I'd be down for that. Although Sunday would also still work (We'd have no trouble getting ten of us on track, and then it's $10 a race, as opposed to $50).

Ok....so how does Mid February sound? Wed or Sun?
It seems as though there is enough interest to make this an event. I don't think the group rate is the best way to go. It's cheaper to just show up on the special days. I can look into some sort of pre-registration if need be. The Dawg |

Sunday Price: $10 per race. Group rate: $500 per half hour.
Last time I went, a race was about twenty minutes anyways, so assuming around ten of us go, the cost would be a factor of $10 for twenty minutes, or $50 for thirty. If we get more people, then the group rate looks more favourable, but if we're a small group, we should have no problem getting all of us on track, my class of 16 managed to get all of us on track last time we went Sunday. |

Apparently they only allow a maximum of 13 carts on the track at once. So $500/13= $38.46/each for a half hour.
In reality, you're paying through the nose to race together. The Dawg |

OK everyone.
I'm going to propose a go cart meet on Sunday Feb 27th. On the calender of events we've got a suggestion for the 26th. I'm thinking we do the go carts instead on Sunday which is the cheap price day. Is that good for everyone? If not, Ken was willing to move his fish and chips run later in the year so we could do it then. It too would have to be on the Sunday. If I don't hear otherwise it will be on the 27th. There's more than enough interest to make it a blast. If we want to race together we need to get there at 5:00PM to fill out the liability forms and pay up. The Cheap races start at 6:00PM. The Dawg |

So, is this event still happening? If so, I'd like to know how many members are planning to go, as I'd possibly bring Anne's son (and maybe her daughter as well) if we don't already have enough people to fill the roster (and all fit on the track together). The 27th is only four days away. Perhaps this event should have it's own thread?

Anne's daughter, eh? (Kidding!) Yeah, wouldn't mind a little list of people planning to attend as well. I think I should be fine to go. Harrison had planned on attending too, if I recall correctly. |

I would always be so concerned some dork in the birthday party would do something just to screw with me. April 1st would be awful for parties. April 17th (Ford Mustang's birthday) is a much better option, she really dropped the ball on that one. |

She didn't have a whole lot of say in the matter. However, she's been giving orders ever since she's been able to talk.

Oh, she had a say. I chose to share my birthday with the Mustang. Because I just have that kind of will-power.
