   Uwe Gemballa was finally found after being missing for a month. He was found murdered, and wrapped in cellophane in South Africa. According to German authorities he was due to deliver a million dollars hidden in tuned Porsches to a local crime boss, but failed to deliver the vehicles, and then fled to South Africa to try and avoid the crime lord. He was picked up by an agent of the mafia, and held captive, apparently phoning his wife in Germany to wire a million dollars to an account or he would be killed.
Uwe Gemballa was best known for his OEM-approved tunes for Porsches.
