Use the Search function at Pennock's Fiero Forum and I'm sure you'd find a ton of info.

I have resisted bringing this up, as I am so Pro V8 I sound mean because I take it too personally.

The only place 4 cyl motors have in Fiero's is on a road course race track.

They used one in the Pylon Python.  Due to its reduced weight it worked fine.  However it was yanked out for a bigger engine.  The Quad 4 HO is a whopping 190hp, which if you just go by HP numbers its seems good.  When in fact, a stock 140hp V6 will run circles around in it for daily driving.

We had a member by the name of Darcy that had an Ecotec 4cyl motor installed in his Fiero its worlds better than the Quad 4, and ya know, it was only a touch faster than a stock V6 Fiero and 10x the price to install over a V6.   The main reason its a bad daily driver is that it has decent HP but a door stuck door knob has more torque.

It took me 10 seconds (I'm not kidding) to find 368 threads at Pennock's Fiero Forum on the Quad 4.

I personally love the idea of putting a quad 4 into a
fiero. i to this day still keep my eye out for a quad 4
engine to buy to do that. Achievas, berettas, and
GrandAms 89-93 have the motor that you would want in it,
either in 180HP or 190HP. W41 is the mofo engine. I know
of a guy who did a the swap with the w41 and cleared his
exhaust/intake and a tad of weight reduction to his
fiero, and had a sub 14 second car! D= 7200 rpm 10:1
compression stock!

Oh you don't have to worry about a thing. I'll treat her like a lady, tell her she's pretty etc etc. And I won't pop the hood, or the rear deck lid. Scouts honor.

You looked at all 368 threads at Pennock's about the Quad 4?  And none were helpful?

You're a difficult guy to assist!

Well then, narrow down the search at Pennock’s by using more terms.

If you find just looking up relevant info difficult, imagine what actually doing the swap would be like!
