Ive decided to take my fiero off the road for the winter, so im wondering what i need to do to prep it?  Disconnect the battery, what to drain etc...   How can i get all the gas out without dropping the whole tank?  Alternatively, if i dont drain anything, i might just use some stabil, and start up the car every 2-3 weeks, get it to opperating temps, take it for a quick spin to lubricate everything, and park it again.  Im probably looking at parking it for 2-3 months...

The only thing you really need to do to a Fiero to prep it for storage is make sure all the fluids are good.  Maybe give it a fresh oil change.  6 months is not going to be a big issue with fuel.  Lisa's V8 Fiero and Shirley's Le baron, probably got filled up oh, a year ago, the Le baron and Van maybe 2 years ago.  They only get fired up to be moved around a few times a year, or to make a quick run where we needed the van.  Otherwise they just sit parked.

I think the biggie is just making sure you have semi fresh oil in the car when you park it,  should be fine though.  Best to go with a good synthetic though.

As above, plus....  check your coolant quality (hydrometers are cheap) and level. Make sure you've got winter squirter fluid (ummm, we should have all done THAT 2 weeks ago). Brake fluid is topped right up so there's no air in there. Fill your tank all the way, and slop in a bottle of methyl hydrate to stop water damage.

If you're not parked indoors, put a "Dry-Z-Air" ball on the console on a bit of cardboard.  Then don't open the doors to 'take a peek' until you're ready to drive it or you wear the ball out too fast.

If you want to get really anal, jack it up and put some wood (not concrete!) blocks under the front and rear to keep the tires off the ground (stops flat spots).

Vacuum up any crap from under and around anything exposed so it doesn't rot.
