EDIT - This is our old car.

I figured I should chime in and send up some pics.

Here's our daily driver, an 87 coupe.

Had a Duke, now has a 3.1.

Seems to be reliable.  We don't beat on it though.

This one is radically cammed.  It has my ported exhausts and EGR deleted Y pipe.  I haven't had the chance to mount one of my modified intakes yet.  It goes pretty good but you can tell it needs to have its chip custom tuned if we're ever to realize its full potential.

Once I get the intake done and the fuel system modifed to my liking, I'll get John to play with the chip.

Much like yourself, I'm just interested in basic engine mods that make sense.  If one day I want to go nuts, I'll get another car.

Cheers,

DG

Needs one of them big, rumbling electric motors.
Never shift into reverse without a back-up plan.

Not me....engine noise is just a distraction.  As long as the car handles and goes like hell I don't care what it sounds like.

If the gurgle noises from me trying to breath are loader than the car, even better.....:)

F1: 0-100-0MPH in <5 seconds. 0-100 in 3.0 seconds. Corners like a hamster on a caffeine binge.

TF Dragster: 0-100 in 1 second. Best 1/4 mile of 3.334 seconds. Cannot corner.

Electric drag bike: 0-100 in 2.8 seconds. Best 1/4 of 7.864 seconds. Cannot corner.

Ergo, F1>Top Fuel>Electricity.
