Congrats on your first Fiero.

For the type of info you're after... check out Pennock's Fiero Forum.

Use the Search function there. Everything you need to know about engine swaps has already been asked and answered.

Oh Boy, you do need to know lots. First off its 3800 series 2, not 3200. Next off, the stock Fiero Trans will work, but not recommended to use the one in the 4cyl Fiero as its not as strong as the 5spd in the V6. I ran the 5spd from the 4cyl in my V8 Fiero and changed it every 6 months as I would blow another one up.

As to years, our 2000 Grand Prix GTP has the S2 3800SC motor in it. Great motor, however we blew out the OD in the trans. (too many trips to 200kph in a family car I think)

As to the center console subs, I don't recommend them. Nothing like putting a big magnet over your ECM. Also takes away elbow room. I much prefer smaller boxes under the passenger side foot well.

Make sure to do a brake upgrade along with the motor swap. Nothing like a Fiero that will do 250kph, and vaporize the stock brakes the first time you need to slow down in a hurry. Cheapest upgrade is the Grand Am brakes, but you lose the E-Brake, doing the Lebaron swap lets you keep the E-Brake but is a bit more expensive.

I am not going to explain the brake conversions, just do some googleing and I am sure you can find them.

Pennocks does not want or NEED to have any more people. They already have so many people trying to be on it, that they require an ISP, Internet Service Provider supplied email so they can weed out scam artists and or people signing up just to create a stir. Here on this site, its fairly easy for me to just click BAN and block an entire IP address range.

P.S. I swear like a like a drunk trucker talking to a sailor after too many beers, but on here we try to keep it to a minimum.

Oh there is also a version of Pennocks on Facebook that you can sign up to. All you have to do is have a valid Facebook account to get on it. Plus a Fiero Group on Facebook, both are really active and helpful. Just no real ability to search past topics really is annoying. I am on several RC groups on Facebook and have ran into that issue.
